Acknowledging All Feelings
November 13, 2009 by Claire Affleck

Our emotions can often be overwhelming. Although we may try to maintain positive thoughts all the time, we are human and are therefore prone to a wide range of emotions and feelings. When we feel positive emotions like love, happiness, and gratitude the world seems at peace. What do we do when we feel more negative emotions like anger, frustration and sadness? Suppressing or ignoring those negative emotions is not going to make them go away. Although it may be more difficult than acknowledging a positive feeling, acknowledging ALL of our emotions is exactly what we should do.
The first step of this process is to identify your feeling or emotion. Being present in the moment and being aware of what your mind and body are telling you is key here. Sometimes identifying an emotion can be tricky. For example, your initial reaction to a situation may have been anger but you are really feeling more hurt than angry. Taking a quiet moment to reflect on exactly what you are feeling and to identify it is the first step. Read more
Dr. Rob On My Mind, October 30th, 2009
October 30, 2009 by Dr. Rob

Dr Rob on my mind; thank you for this day, and blessings brought to me each and every way. Salsa and spice, this is life. Thank you to Joelle and Alain for allowing me to share in their kitchen, Joelle’s French Bistro yesterday. All there make me feel at home. Mom was there and enjoying, dancing away, with all of our friends and family. All connected as one and food is an amazing link in the Universe. Share food and drink each and every day, and to really get to know someone, get in their kitchen and cook with them. Cook away and add spice each day of your life.
Love,
Dr. Rob

Doctor shares positive thinking with new blog
For Dr. Robert Kiltz life is a journey of experience that each and everyone of us has a say in making good or bad as we go along on our own personal journey.
Kiltz says happiness is all about learning, taking risks, letting go of fear and focusing on the positives.
To help promote this idea and share some of his own positive energy with his community and the world around him, Kiltz has started a daily blog on his Web site to share his thoughts and intentions of the day that are designed to help readers focus on the positives of life.
Kiltz of the Central New York Fertility Clinic brought in Kristin and Mark Magnacca, motivational speakers to help promote understanding and communication in his office.
“They suggested that we share a daily intention,” Kiltz said. “It is designed to set the tone of the day and to help improve the atmosphere at work.”
The Magnaccas encouraged Kiltz to try this for 21 days.
