Dr. Rob shares thoughts of thanks to his Mom and Dad on his birthday today.
A little Dr. Rob on my mind to share my love – Mom and Dad – thank you. Thank you for the birth, this birthday of mine, a new beginning every day. And thank you for your love together in creating me. And you are awesome and amazing every single day. I learn, you are my teachers every day through the love you share together and that you express to others in life. The life challenges that we all have each and every day are part of the gifts that we all have – the bumps. Mom and Dad’s bumps have shared with me and taught me many things: that we all come together and heal in love.
Yesterday I had the pleasure of visiting my friend Jergan who is healing from a bump. With prayers to Jergan and his family, Holly, and Kyle, and Brad. And all the nurses and the professionals coming together to help heal, all with one, and all with love, every day. We share that. Remember all things come as gifts in some way to teach us on the journey. And through our notes of life that we create, that we sing out loud with joy and happiness, this helps us move forward, ever moving forward, ever moving forward.
As we write and share our words we create the music. And in singing and dancing, in playing the guitar, in beating the drums, playing the trumpet, each and every day we are all sharing love. I always come back to Don Miguel, The Four Agreements: nothing personal, no assumptions. Remember high intention and low attachment, these are the keys to life. If we allow things to bring us down, and hold us down, we can’t move forward. But that a little bit is pushing us to continue to move, continue to learn, continue to share. And put a smile on your face and say, “Thank you God for the awesome gift of this day, for I am learning each and every day in each and every way.”
I wanted to share another love poem from Daniel Ladinsky’s book, Love Poems from God: Twelve Sacred Voices from the East and West. This is from Saint Frances of Assisi:
GOD WOULD KNEEL DOWN
(And for me we are all God, we are the energy within each and every one us that is sharing the words of God, that is us. St. Francis did this.)
God would kneel down
I think Gould might be a little prejudiced
For once he asked me to join him on a walk through this world
And we grazed into every heart on this earth
I noticed he lingered a bit longer before any face that was weeping
And before any eyes that were laughing
And sometimes when we passed a soul in worship God too would kneel down
I have come to learn God adores his creatures.
For me our thoughts create God. God is within all of us. God is the energy of the Universe that creates all things. It’s with our loving thoughts and our joy in life every day to every thing that comes as a gift to help us grow and learn and share positive, loving words and thoughts. And remember despite our ethnic, cultural, religious, size, shape, colors, our differences, we are all the same. When we come together recognizing how the same we are and simply saying, “Wow, I love you, that’s awesome and amazing.” Share with me each and every day. My blessings, Dr. Rob, on another spectacular, awesome, and amazing day. And thank you for all the birthday wishes from everyone. This amazing day, Dr. Rob

Dr. Rob shares a few thoughts from the book, Love Poems from God.
Hi Dr. Rob, just sharing a few extras moments and Love Poems from God: Twelve Sacred Voices from the East and West by Daniel Ladinksy. Highly recommended, great poetry. I wanted to pull out a little something from Meister Eckhart:
WHEN I WAS THE FOREST
When I was the stream,
when I was the forest,
when I was still the field,
when I was every hoof, foot, fin, and wing,
when I was the sky itself,
no one ever asked me did I have a purpose,
no one ever wondered was there anything I might need,
for there was nothing I could not love.
It was when I left all we once were that the agony began,
the fear and questions came,
and I wept, I wept.
And tears I had never known before.
So I returned to the river,
I returned to the mountains.
I asked for their hand in marriage again,
I begged – I begged to wed every object and creature,
and when they accepted,
God was ever present in my arms.
And he did not say,
“Where have you been?”
For then I knew my soul.
Every soul has always held him.
Words, thoughts, moments, share, connect, a smile, and remember compassion. My love this day, this awesome and amazing day, as every day that is gifted to us is that. Love, Dr. Rob

Acceptance of others always must begin with the acceptance of thy self.
Some thoughts on my mind. Dr Rob. Acceptance of others always must begin with acceptance of thyself.
I was listening to Don Miguel Luiz in The Mastery of Love this morning on my way to my office, to my work, to my art, to my love. And I think only good things of all things. With acceptance of thyself, which is first and most important, because we cannot accept anyone else, or love anyone else truly unless we accept ourselves. This comes with all the bumps and all the so-called flaws. I say “so-called flaws,” because flaws are gifts, they’re part of who we are as human beings. Accepting all of these flaws as our gifts of life, and all as teachers and lessons for us all each and every day.
When we accept ourselves, we can go out there and explore life, and explore drumming, music, dance, belly dancing and movement, zumba, and painting, and spirit, and sharing our energy with all of those around us. Loving them as we love ourselves with all of our flaws. Acceptance, this is the key. Simply to say, “I love you, you are right, awesome and amazing. How can I help? How can I do and be better?” And listen, and listen.
We have within us the power, the energy, the life. It’s through journeying and reading and sharing stories that we learn each and every day. I always go back to Don Miguel’s The Four Agreements. Take nothing personal. Make no assumptions. Always do your best and remember that today’s best is today’s best. Tomorrow will be better. Focus on today and the now. Be impeccable with your words. Remember you’re doing your best and sharing your words also. Practice, I love you, you’re right, how may I help you? This is acceptance of all things, as they are meant to be. Loving each and every day
We share energy from that basic beat, Mother Earth, our heart beat. Slow down and meditate and listen and remember you create the thought, you create the words. Focus on good words, good thoughts, and love. When you spend your time in worry and fear of yesterday and tomorrow, and hatred, and regret, and judgment, you are sending negative molecules and negative vibrations all around. Remember you are the creator of this Universe. You have the power right now to shift it. It takes simple practice, reading and writing and meditation, positive thoughts and mantras, this is the key. This is the key to love thyself, to love all others as one.
When we spend time ridiculing, judging, oil prices, health care, our government, other people, you’re just sending negative energy within thyself causing those stomachaches, those heartaches, those migraines, all those things that make us feel lousy. Use thoughts and the words, use the thoughts and the words of love and joy, connection. Get out there. Join a spirit group, a connection, and share and explore life each and every day. Accept thyself, this is the key. You are perfect exactly as you are. Practice that. My love to you each and every day on another awesome and amazing day, Dr. Rob

Dr. Rob shares his thoughts today.
Hi Dr. Rob, sharing a little on my mind. Great weekend, travels with brother Tom and brother Ray, Mom and Dad, and nephew Justin, to visit Aunt Barbara and her family, our family, that we haven’t seen, most of them in twenty-five, thirty years. Rips, breaks, family feuds, and fights that you never know exactly how they happened or why. Then time goes by and we forget and we lose connections. And then it’s too much work to restart them and we think and fear that we’re going to dig up the past. The trick is to let the past be and focus on the moment of now and the love that each and every one of us has.
That gift of my mother’s stoke brought us all together. Aunt Barbara’s cancer, all healing and all coming together Because these ties are always there, all we need to do is say, “Thank you, your right I love you. How can I do better? How can I help?” Visiting with aunt Barbara and cousins Joe and John and their wives, Ileana and Katie, and their children Alexandra and Antonio, and Max, Anthony, and Isabella. Then friends so many friends, good food, and good company, and simply sharing the beauty of the day. Putting a smile on all of this, that was the trick, the beauty that Mom and Dad, and all of us came together in loving ways. They shared their homes and their families, food and friends Bruce, and Karen, and Bill, and Bobby and so many more. We got a chance to go to church with Barbara and connect with great people. And simply putting a smile on our face, and saying “Yes I love you. How can I help?”
We had some great travels through the city. Traffic, diverted us, we kept on being drawn to the St. Patrick’s Day parade. It wasn’t the day, but it was the parade. But we still said, “Wow, this is great, fantastic,” because we were all together traveling, and zipping around. Then Antonio and Carlos showed us their rip sticks, it’s kind of like skateboarding and snowboarding. And Justin and Ray and Tom and I all got to practice and enjoy, and play and have fun together. Nothing other than sharing lives, because that’s what we’re all doing, sharing lives each and every day. When we do it in loving, positive and caring ways, the beauty of the Universe comes together for all of us. Remember the past, it’s history, the future IS the mystery, the present is in the now, the present moment now. Learn to live it in the now and sharing positive, loving connections – listen.
Brother Ray taught me something about biting my tongue. Maybe we need to just practice that, because I know me, I’m always wanting to throw it out there and share stories. But simply listening, remember – two ears, one mouth – listen twice as much as we speak. And “Yes, you’re right, I love you,” is all a gift, feeling and sending out the energy of life.
We were at auntie Rosie’s at the Oak Park Country Club. Since 1914 great energy, great people. We got a chance to meet Rosie’s family. Auntie Rosie at 90 with her red hair sharing positive, vibrant energy and life. Meeting Camille and Paul. Again so many great people and family, all one, and connected. Then Justin and Alexandra bumped cell phones, iPhones to connect new terms, new energy, new thought – bump. Through that bumping connection of their iPhones and touching, the contacts were transferred back and forth. We’re all bumping and connecting each and every day. We’re moving through and around, and touching molecules each and every one of us, we’re touching our molecules and connecting and sharing our lives. Remember bumps are normal, but what we’re really doing is we’re bumping and touching and sharing energy and love, each and every day.
A simple “Yes, you’re right, I love you,” is the key and the trick I have found in my life. For we are all the same, searching, and touching – love. Remember it’s all within us, each and every one of us. That love is within you. If you’re feeling sad and down, and threatened – smile. “I love you, yes, you’re right, how may I help?” Use those words, from that thought, it creates the molecules within. It creates the vibration that shares the positive, loving energy all around. Share that energy in your day. You are the gift of the Universe, you are a blessing. Namaste on this awesome and amazing day. Share love and blessings, Dr. Rob

Hi, Dr. Rob talking a little bit about what’s on my mind: “Worry Nation,” “Meditation,” “Worry-tation.” Some plays on words. Meditation is the focus on the breath, clearing the mind of all the yick-yack and focusing on the mantra, the positive thought. But in fact each and every one of us knows how to meditate, because we do it with our worry. Worry Nation, Worry-tation. We are worrying about what happened, what won’t happen, what will happen, what if it doesn’t happen. Oh My God!
We are worrying and in our worrying we are building the molecules that are enabling each and every cell to the feel the pain, the fright, the fear of all those fantasized events appearing real. All we need to do is change the thought. Remember it’s a positive thought, a positive intention. That is where the real meditation comes. I’m just telling you what I think, because I’m challenged to clear my mind of all thought, because I know it’s always there. But if I always come back to the mantra, the positive thought, a beautiful day, thank you God for this day. A blessing it is. I love the wind, I love the rain, I love life, I love thee, I love me.
The breath. Ahhh. You’re going to breath anyways, you might as well think about it and it helps take you’re thoughts away from the other stuff, worry, unwanted. But now create the wanted thoughts, the positive love life. Remember the music in the background, the vibration, it touches each and every cell. Some walking, tai chi, yoga, movement is the key. You already know how to meditate, all you need to do is practice on the right meditation, the right thought, and the blessing is there.
Worry Nation. Remember you have the gift, it’s life. I always come back to that. And you’re part of it, you’re a key part it, you’re an integral part of it. Remember all the pain, the fears, the worries, it’s part of the gift of the past, change them up, let them go, move forward in life. I always say it is all good and a gift of God. Oh, by the way, you too are God, you are the gift of the Universe, you are important. Blessing, Love, Dr. Rob

Hi Dr. Rob just talking a little bit about what’s on my mind and open thy understanding to thy life. We seem not to understand many of the things that come to us in life and the many things we label as problems. And it’s closing off to the possibilities that is our biggest, biggest challenge in life. If we open up to all the possibilities that everything that comes to us we have attracted, and that it is there as our teacher for us to learn and grow and take the next step. That it is all part of the stepping-stones of life or the stairway to our heaven, which is in fact there right now (another topic).
Open up to understand things as there for the good of us. If everything is good and everything that happens brings us something good in the Universe, because remember its all happening at the level of you, and at the level of everything the Universe simultaneously at the same time. Cause and effect, action/reaction, it is all part of the same thing. The beginning and the end are the same. Open up to the possibilities that everything happens exactly as it is meant to be, a gift for you to learn to grow. And I say “thank you God” for every thing that comes my way, everything. Energy is eternal. The material world and things are the blink of an eye, the temporary.
The OFF is the spirit, the ON is the material. We are in the ON and simultaneously in the OFF. We’re whipping around at light speed, quantum mechanics as we’ve described it, because we’ve created this lingo to help us understand what it all means and where we’re at and where we’re going. It’s all a story. Create the story that is awesome and amazing and the greatest story ever told which is that of you. You are all of that. The beauty that God has gifted to you is in the now, is in opening up to the understanding that it is all meant to be Beauty. Energy of the Universe has been attracted to this one point of light that is now emitted as you. Beauty, wonder, passion, enthusiasm, excitement for continuing to create and explore and move forward and take steps. To opening up to the understanding that it is all happening exactly as it is meant to be.
Have a beautiful, awesome, and amazing day each and every day and remember: read, write, explore, connect and share your life with awe. Blessings, Dr. Rob

Dr. Rob sharing thoughts and ideas on how to help people win, to be winners, and to understand that we are already winners because we have the gift of the Universe, the gift of life. And that is the trick. It is all with us right now.
And it’s not our intention to criticize, but we often do that, we often lead off with, “this isn’t meant to be a criticism. I don’t want to criticize.” Well then let’s change the thoughts and the words, because somehow when you even use the words “not be a criticism,” it’s taken as that. Our instinctual beast does not hear all the words, but hones in on certain key words and phrases. To not be something, is to be that. Somehow there’s the double negative in all of this, but in fact, again our brain hones in on a few thoughts, ideas, and words. If we practice with a script, “you’re awesome and amazing and you are a winner.”
Here are some thoughts and ideas that I want to share that I think we can all do better. You’re already doing best. Let’s keep at it. Share some ideas and thoughts on how to organize and reorganize, and keep at it. Because that’s what it’s all about, for all us to just simply keep at it. Thank you Laurie, for sharing your thoughts this morning about not wanting to criticize. I know that the intent is strictly to help uplift and support and share that everyone is a winner.
Start the day with a breath, another awesome and amazing day and thank you for this day. Thank you for the winners that are all around me each and every day. Remember we’re all taking steps and often missteps and tripping up. It’s all part of the gift. I too found myself a little tweaked the other day, when a misunderstanding… they didn’t get the check on time. I began to take it personally that well you didn’t say you needed it at this date or time. Woe, it even touched me. Again, a teacher, a reminder for me: it’s all good.
We all look at exactly the same thing and see something different. Allow that all to be part of the good, part of the art, part of the creation. It is all good. As we share the day, each and every day, with winners all around us, with winners all around us. It starts with a smile and the breath. Share the thoughts, “I love you, you’re awesome and amazing and a winner I see. How can I be of assistance? What can I do to make it better?” I practice this every day, and the more I practice, the easier it becomes, and the light expands and opens up. It’s all a gift.
My blessings, in sharing some thoughts, helping people win in life is about knowing that they, as you, are already the winner. My blessings, Dr. Rob

March 2, 2010 by Dr. Rob
Hello Good Morning, Dr. Rob, just sharing a little Dr. Rob On My Mind.
Today is another awesome and amazing day: brother Tom’s birthday. I always send my thanks to Mom and Dad, because obviously their coming together, as compelled by the energy of the Universe brought about brother Tom. My brother Tom was born March 2, 1957, the year after I was born, which was March 12th. For the next ten days we are of the same age, yet I think we are always of the same age. Youth, how young are you? Words and thoughts, because all I hear is “How old are you?” And then people talk about not wanting to get older. How can you not want to get older? Isn’t that part of the nature of life? But in fact, if you consider yourself young – for your age is all within in thy mind – that’s the trick of the Universe. Remember the blessing of the Universe is life, and with it comes birth and death, it is the nature of all things. Its built into our DNA, it’s built into every cell, for our energy is the eternal part, but the physical being is all temporary.
As I send my blessings each and every day to sister Maria and my best friend Dave, and obviously to all others who have passed on their journey one stop on the way, there are a multitude of stops as we go. There is always, always, always another one to see. The conscious mind is only a part of me. The unconscious, the subconscious is where it is all happening eternally. You do not have to think to breath, you do not have to think to beat thy heart. You do not have to think for the metabolism to take place within each and every cell. It is built into the system. Energy, always moving, clickety-clack, clickety-clack, clickety-clack, always moving. And, remember the past and the future are a part of our imagination. The present is in our thoughts of the now. And for me, friend Dave, sister Maria, are with me right now in this moment in my imagination, and my brother Tom on the West Coast with brother Ray. We all connected with the iPhone connection with Mom and Dad on one line, Tom another, Ray on another, and I on another. We simply connected to our thoughts. It is imagination that has created all of these things and brought them together for each and every one of us.
A birthday is a celebration day, a celebration of life, for the moment, for the one stop on the way. The eternal journey. Eternal energy is what each and every one of us are. In time to shine, a time you shine, is always there. All you need to do is open up to the possibilities of the Universe. And it all stems from the imagination. And if your imagination is focusing on what you can’t, won’t, shouldn’t, if you’re focusing on the pain, the ill health, that’s what you will see and have. But in fact if you take everything as a gift, a gem of the journey, a gem of the journey, then that too is what will be. It is all within thy soul, thy energy, thy life. For we are all one and the same in the Universe: energy. Creating and loving and touching, if only with a thought of the beauty we have right now. Remember it’s all made up, it’s all the imagination. Why would you make anything other than beauty up in thy mind? And with that, this is what is created. A special birthday wish, not a wish, an intention of joy and happiness and the light to shine eternally in each and every one of us.
My love on this beautiful, awesome, amazing day,
Dr. Rob

Another beautiful day as the universe has gifted us with the energy to weave our lives as one. Since the dawn of time, all things are on a creative process, and to weave a balance into life. The creativity of the Universe is immense and always moving. The power to bless us all with the mere existence of life seems enough. But we are constantly striving for the expansion of our own lives, and those around us. This is best approached when we are there to help others. For in the giving to others, we are giving back to ourselves and gaining a simple feeling, that of balance and harmony. This is built into our DNA, albeit a selfish one. Giving and helping others assists us all to a greater balance of the universal energy. We have a basic need, maybe there is some greed to it, that darn selfish gene pops up time and time again.
In giving, I feel better, and I am healthier. Joy and happiness is best brought about from simple thoughts. This creates feelings, that foster more electro-molecular reactions in the universe, within each and every one of us. To listen and acknowledge is to let it out. I feel better when I speak or write of my challenges, hurt and sadness. For we have the ability to touch one another with a helping hand and it all starts with the thought that we are all one.
This vibration is shared to all as we weave the balance of life. As we all work as one to the good of the whole, this brings about a vibrational harmony, this is where happiness is found. We do have a need to connect, to share love and joy in life. And when we share hurt, tragedy and sadness, we can console and assist others to find their balance in life. A simple word, a hug and a touch, the acknowledgment of another person’s feelings and thoughts. This is how we connect and assist in the simplest of ways. This is the best value of all. No checks or credit card debt necessary. To simply love as we all weave the beauty of the energy gifted. For life is the gift, and with gratitude each and every day, I am one with all.
Love,
Dr. Rob

A great drive to work this morning, lots of beautiful fluffy snow. The roads a great challenge yet by keeping my vision on where I wanted to go, this kept me out of the ditch. Now I have been there before and it was all good, but not my destination today. I made it to the office, albeit a challenge, I love the snow. I simply took my time and moved forward, not looking at the ditch. Many a calls this morning of those that were unable to make it out of the driveway, and some in ditches. Some suggested simply staying home and I was excited to give the opportunity to do something different, work from home. Yes, now with the use of the internet, and electronic medical records, we can do many tasks from the comfort of our own home, pajamas as the dress of the day. No guilt since we are all blessed with this great snow covered day and we simply need to enjoy where ever and whatever it is.
For the fire of life is in the desires that give us the energy to move forward and be the creators of life. We are all here as the creators and the fires are built within. It is our journey of life that creates the doings and the interactions for the beauty that we share with one another. When the weather kicks us and tells us to slow down, the key is to keep the fire of desire alive and simply move at the weather’s pace. A great snowboarding day and also a day to get out on your snowmobile, or simply hunker down by the fire with a good book. Whatever it is, enjoy it within. You must foster love for the gifts are in all things. Simply take a breath and think it is all good and beautiful.
My thanks to Hairtique Salon and Day Spa for the art opening and fundraiser for the Laker Limo. A great success with great people connections. Out in the snow storm, which did not keep the evening down. It may have actually made it more fun in that the work to get there was a bit more than usual, giving us a sense of accomplishment. Bravery in the face of grave danger, if you survive it makes you feel even braver. Not that the getting there was terribly dangerous, the snow plows did a great job. Can’t wait to hear how my friend Martin did on his snowmobile run to 1820’s House for dinner. We do like to take chances and this is all based on the desire within. That which is more valuable is often harder to obtain. I always come back to the words, it is all easy, then this is what it becomes. The event raised nearly $2000 for the Laker Limo service and brought many great energies together, inspiring us all to keep the fire, the inner light burning and bright. My love to all and have an exceptionally great day, keep the smile within and the light will continue to shine despite any bumps you may feel. Love, Dr. Rob
