Sight

July 31, 2009 by David Ritter

Imagine driving home from a long day and suddenly your left arm is paralyzed and your face has drooped. You stay that way for the remaining hours of your drive and finally, they subside shortly after arriving at the hospital. Imagine they tell you after countless tests, that you have had, a T.I.A.(mini-stroke)and they don’t no why or if it will happen again. Imagine 2 months later you have a brain tumor and need radiation. Imagine all this happening two more times over the next two years. Oh yes, and you are also diagnosed with MS.

Why would the Universe punish anyone like this. The answer is simple, it didn’t. The Universe bestowed a “gift”, if you will, the Gift of Sight. For the first time life was being seen without the baggage we burden ourselves with from childhood. Suddenly, the beauty of a smile is seen, the warmth of a hug is accepted with joy and the music could be felt instead of only heard. The Universe sent a reminder that all the petty judgments, arrogance, opinions and material goals are worthless. Life is about living and the “gift”, was a reminder that we all face mortality so don’t waste the Blessing of Life.

The Universe is now providing another “gift” and when it is fully unwrapped, the reason will become clear. Remember, sometimes we are given a “gift” to wear so others may have SIGHT

The gift of life

November 22, 2008 by Dr. Rob

Good morning to all and a beautiful Saturday morning in this universe
“Love to all”, is the gift of life and the gift of the day
The word or phrase, the mantra that saves
It is the challenge for us to share with all and let go

Let go of the hurts, the failures, the “what ifs”
Work to live in the present moment and “love to all”
But it is the letting go of the past and the forgiving all, that is the “gift”
The gift of God, and the gift of understanding that this is the nature of life

The nature of life, for us to experience the challenges, the fighting and the struggles
Now let it go,  “and love all”
This momentary earthly experience is the challenge and wonder of the universe
Allowing God, the word, the energy, the all of the universe that gives us life

The part of life that allow us to experience and grow
Learning to live our best life and to “love all”
The challenge of life is to “love all”
The good and the bad, the mighty and the weak

The long lived, the short lived, the middle lived, the didn’t live
For none of us know the time we have in this physical self
We waste so much time worrying and fretting about things that are not very important
Now is the time to … love all

And by loving all, and recognizing that this is “the gift of God”
Remember that life is what we make of it, and share it, and love all
And simply by changing our thoughts, by practicing and loving all, we can and will experience this amazing eternal journey no matter what God gifts us
Remember that each and every experience is a gift of God and a growing and giving experience
Love to all,
Dr. Rob

An artist giving away her inner gift

November 12, 2008 by Editor

An artist worthy of the name should express all the truth of nature, not only the exterior truth, but also, and above all, the inner truth. -Auguste Rodin

One Woman’s Artistic Gift:
On her countryside farm in Salt Lake City, Kazaih raises goats. And paints. “I paint people I can relate to and the wildlife and countryside I love,” the 58 year old says. In 2002, Kaziah sent a note to a Gloria Johnson to see if she could do a portrait of her son, an Army private who died in an ambush in Iraq. Gloria agreed, and Kaziah’s portrait moved her to tears. Kaziah continued her humanitarian experiment — without taking Read more
