Dr. Rob’s 12 Minute Meditation, January 15th, 2010
Dr. Rob’s 12 minute meditation;
Take a breath and I connect with the sun
It all begins with the breath
In with the nose and smile I see
Slow and easy, calm with thee
Happy is what I always see
The gift of connections is from you to me
With the breath we connect as one, I see
Simple tai chi or yoga is thee
Music touches all that we be
The mantra of life is to connect with the sun
I feel the warmth touch every cell of me
In with the nose and out with the smile
Love is the key from you to me
And me to all of thee, a thought I see
I am the sun, I am the love, all from thee
As I walk the garden of life, all beauty I see
Namaste this and every day

Dr. Rob On My Mind, October 28th, 2009
October 28, 2009 by Dr. Rob

Dr. Rob on my mind; A hug this morning from Mom and Dad at 4:30 am, up and about and moving forward with joy of each moment, all meant to be. And these words my Mom and Dad share with me to set the moment and this day. Listening to meditative music and feeling the love, a blessing from the creator, the energy of the Universe. Mom walking and unknowing of any afflictions, all gifts of the meant to be.
I spoke with my brother Tom last night and he shared the passing of a friend, who in the pain of life chose to move on. Or was it a choice? Was it like any other disease, a heart attack or cancer, part of the life journey and possibilities. A celebration of life is what I do see. No sadness in loss, for there is no loss if we are spiritual beings and eternal. For we are always the participants in the journey, all intertwined and weaving the connections. And still there is a celebration to share the blessing of life. The eternal nature of all things, the energy that creates you and me. Remembering that we are all on our eternal journeys, a blink and a moment, all meant to be exactly as it is, now.
Always come back to the blessing of life, any life, all life, all situations. We seek the destiny which is right here and now. This is what I say is meant to be, and the blessings I feel in this thought creates the harmonic vibrations to bring about joy and happiness. We seek to create the perfect situations and harmony, then life happens and happens. This is the harmony and perfection of what the creator intended, now, the present is in the moment.
Seek love in all. Blessings on this journey we label as life,

What we need is each other
September 10, 2009 by Editor

We have a calling. We are the people who know what we need. What we need surrounds us. What we need is each other. And when we act together, we will find Our Way. –John McKnight
What We Need Is Each Other:
There is a new worldwide movement developing, made up of people with a different vision for their local communities. They know that movements are not organizations, institutions or systems. Movements have no CEO, central office, or plan. Instead, they happen when thousands and thousands of people discover together new possibilities for their lives. They have a calling. They are called. And together they call upon themselves.
In many nations local people have been called to come together to pursue a common calling. It would be a mistake to label that calling ABCD, or Community Building. Those are just names. They are inadequate words for groups of local people who have the courage to discover their own way—to create a culture made by their own vision. It is a handmade, homemade vision. And, wherever we look, it is a culture that starts the same way:
First, we see what we have—individually, as neighbors and in this place of ours.
Second, we know that the power of what we have grows from creating new connections and relationships among and between what we have. Read more
Learn and let flow, no need to suffer
July 21, 2009 by Editor

The idea that we have to suffer or live in poverty in order to be spiritual is an old one and can be found in the belief systems of many philosophies. Most of us carry this idea around subconsciously, and we may be holding ourselves back from financial or emotional well-being, believing that this is what we must do in order to be virtuous, spiritually awake, or feel less guilty for the suffering of others.
While it’s true that there can be a spiritual purpose to experiencing a lack of material well-being, it is rarely intended to be a permanent or lifelong experience. What we are meant to find when material or emotional resources are in short supply is that there is more to our lives than the physical realm. Intense relationships and material abundance can distract us from the subtler realm of the spirit, so a time of deficiency can be spiritually awakening. However, once we recognize the realm of spirit, and remember to hold it at the center of our lives, there is no reason to dwell in poverty or emotional isolation. In fact, once our connection to spirit is fully intact, we feel so compelled to share our abundance that lack becomes a thing of the past.
If you find that you are experiencing suffering in some area of your physical life, perhaps your spirit is asking you to look deeper in your search for what you want. For example, if you want money so that you can experience the feeling of security but money keeps eluding you, your spirit may be asking you to understand that security is not to be found through money. Security comes from an unshakable connection to your soul. Once you make that connection, money will probably flow more easily into your life. If relationships elude you, your spirit may be calling you to recognize that the love you seek is not to be found in another person. And yet, ironically, once you find the love, your true love may very well appear. If you feel stuck in suffering to live a spiritual life, try to spend some time writing about it. The root of the problem will appear and it may not be what you expected. Remember, the Universe wants you to be happy.
