Dr. Rob on my mind;

The rocks and the bumps in our daily experiences are the gifts of life. We feel and see the strife and the stress in life and verbalize our unhappiness and fear of the bumps. With this constant thought of the fear and bumps, the realities of life are created for and by  us. We are moving at light speed through the mind fields with the concept that we will get past the ruts in the road without damage to the vehicle. Yet in fact the bumps are part of the beauty of life and meant to be. Within the rock and beneath the bumps are the jewels and gems of life. It is where the gold is and we need to slow down and dig. Look beneath the ditches and pick up the rocks. Hold them and touch them, slow and easy to see the beauty within. And with love to all, especially to ourselves, we will begin to see the beauty in all things. It is our thoughts that create the good and the bad. The mind is the weaver of your life. Outside events are the creations of the mind. Learning the trick of the Universe is to understand the ability of the mind to create. With a kind and beautiful thought you will create the master tapestry of life. All is beauty to be held and touched in thy mind with the positive and loving thoughts that you create each and every moment of existence. Read more

Dr. Rob on my mind;
A beautiful and awesome day again, gifted to all of thee. As we evolve and move forward in life and we address the challenges on our  way. A challenge to get up, bathed, dressed and out the door. Maybe a sign to rest and not do much more. But for me I am up and out today, with the blessings of you and others helping me this day. Some ice and a brace, Motrin and rest for my back. I am taking it easy and slowing down today. Not much to say this day as I meditate and feel the healing coming my way. Share healing touch and prayer to those feeling the pain, and the gifts of everything that comes our way.
My love to all,
Dr. Rob

Triumph Of A Dreamer

November 17, 2009 by Editor

How could a vision ever be given to someone to harbor if that person could not be trusted to carry it out. The message is simple: commitment precedes vision. -High Eagle

Triumph Of A Dreamer:
“Of all the people earning university degrees this year, perhaps the most remarkable story belongs to Tererai (pronounced TEH-reh-rye), a middle-aged woman who is one of my heroes. She is celebrating a personal triumph, but she’s also a monument to the aid organizations and individuals who helped her. When you hear that foreign-aid groups just squander money or build dependency, remember that by all odds Tererai should be an illiterate, battered cattle-herd in Zimbabwe and instead — ah, but I’m getting ahead of my story.” This NY Times article shares more.

THANK YOU, MAMA!
A Story About A Little Girl’s Grief and Her Victory Over Fear
By Elisabeth Hurley

Georgia had been spending almost all of her free time at her mother’s grave. She talked to her constantly, sometimes angrily. “Mama, why did you leave me? Why couldn’t we stay together here in our little village? Why do I have to go away and live with people I don’t know. Mama, tell me! Why, oh why?”
There had been no answer from her mother who had died six weeks ago, just two days after Georgia’s eleventh birthday. Anna Schreck, an immigrant from Germany and her mother’s best friend, would invite her for dinner every night. If only “Mrs. Anna” knew how she hated to eat, or, for that matter, do anything at all. On a recent trip to compete in a horse show in Virginia, I was able to train my young horse to jump with my friend coaching us. He said something to me about riding the youngster that was completely applicable to life outside of horses. Read more
