Dr. Rob On My Mind, January 11th, 2010

Dr. Rob on my mind;

The rocks and the bumps in our daily experiences are the gifts of life. We feel and see the strife and the stress in life and verbalize our unhappiness and fear of the bumps. With this constant thought of the fear and bumps, the realities of life are created for and by  us. We are moving at light speed through the mind fields with the concept that we will get past the ruts in the road without damage to the vehicle. Yet in fact the bumps are part of the beauty of life and meant to be. Within the rock and beneath the bumps are the jewels and gems of life. It is where the gold is and we need to slow down and dig. Look beneath the ditches and pick up the rocks. Hold them and touch them, slow and easy to see the beauty within. And with love to all, especially to ourselves, we will begin to see the beauty in all things. It is our thoughts that create the good and the bad. The mind is the weaver of your life. Outside events are the creations of the mind. Learning the trick of the Universe is to understand the ability of the mind to create. With a kind and beautiful thought you will create the master tapestry of life. All is beauty to be held and touched in thy mind with the positive and loving thoughts that you create each and every moment of existence. Read more

Dr. Rob On My Mind, November 30th, 2009

November 30, 2009 by Dr. Rob

Dr. Rob Kiltz
Dr. Rob on my mind;

Some thoughts on my mind, I choose to share this day, another happy and amazing day. For life is created in our thoughts of the things and events that we come in contact with. There are a multitude of events in life we label as good or as bad, depending on our upbringing, experiences and ultimately all from our thought. Mother Nature does have a plan; somehow all of this is what was, is and will be, created by the great energy of the Universe. I also see this all in the now, for this moment is the gift. And all of the bumps, the swells,  are the gifts of life. We are hunting for smooth sailing, and it is in fact,  all smooth sailing. The swells of the ocean and the bumps of the land are joys of life and the teachers for you and me. God does have a plan and the so called struggles in the day are good and a gift when you think they are. And in the thinking that they are a gift, rather than the terrible unfortunate event, the electro molecular energy of the brain and the body create harmony in the universe, thus growth and evolution. Where the terrible and unfortunate thoughts create chaos and disharmony. Read more

Riding lessons for life #11

July 9, 2009 by Claire Affleck

Impulsion!
When you are jumping a horse it is especially important to have what riders call “impulsion,” or this kind of reserve energy or power in the hind end of the horse that will help thrust the pair of you over the obstacle.  Riders create impulsion by using their legs to activate the horse’s hind end and their hand to keep the energy back there.  It is so important to have this impulsion in order to safely make it over the obstacle but equally important not to rush the jump by simply going faster and running at it.  By hurrying a jump the horse is more likely to be careless and it is more likely you won’t clear the obstacle.

I think the same is true in life.  When we are faced with the obstacles in life it is important not to energize and run at them without first creating some impulsion.  When we see a problem ahead and become angered, anxious, or worried it often leads to us making brash decisions causing regret later.  When faced with an issue in life, we need to maintain the pace, take a breath and create impulsion.  What I mean by that is, we need to create a skill set for dealing with the bumps in the road.  Energize your support system!  That could mean calling a good friend or family  member that can help you over the obstacles in life, write down your thoughts and feelings, write down the positives and negatives of what actions to take,  visualize calmly approaching this issue and making it to the other side, start expressing gratitude for the opportunity to learn from this experience.  Armed with all of these skills (you have now energized and created impulsion without rushing!) you can clear any obstacle in your path.

Your assignment is to practice putting your skill set into action with small bumps in the road that occur on a daily basis (lots of traffic on the way to work, something gets spilled on your new shirt, etc.) so when bigger obstacles come your way, you will be ready to put your impulsion into action and clear the difficulty with no problem!
