Artist, Evelyn Dankovich, of North Syracuse, NY, began her career painting landscapes and portraits of the people and places she knew. As she explains ”I love the challenge of painting what I see and feel.”

She uses watercolor, acrylics, or oils to capture the unique beauty and moods of nature. Rebecca O’Connor
Professional Animal Trainer & Avian Consultant
Author of 9 books
Rebecca’s Website
E-mail Rebecca here

It would be safe to say that Rebecca enjoys animals. She consults professionally as an animal trainer and behaviorist for institutions and individuals around the world. At home in California her three small parrots, two Brittany spaniels, peregrine falcon and flock of pigeons keep her training skills honed and keep her entertained. Even the area outside her house is teeming with life. A nest of redtails and a nest of kestrels breed simultaneously on her street every spring. Living in a pass that’s a natural funnel on the Pacific flyway, the migration always brings interesting visitors in the Spring and Fall. All in all it’s the perfect place for a writer that finds her inspiration in nature.

Having just finished her M.F.A. in creative writing, Rebecca is Director of Development for Girl Scouts of San Gorgonio Council as well as a freelance writer, writing and editing grants, copy, articles for magazines, books, and anything else that sounds fun and challenging. She has written nine books including: Falcon’s Return, a romance novel; several young adult reference books; and a parrot owner’s guide, A Parrot for Life. She of course, has several other book projects currently in the works.

Her falconry memoir, Lift, a book about the first season with her first peregrine falcon, Anakin and their adventures hunting near the Salton Sea was her Master’s thesis and is forthcoming from Red Hen Press. It’s a book about finding oneself and making amends with the past while seeking freedom in the shadow of a peregrine. Currently she is working on a mystery novel.

Rebecca K. O’Connor also does lectures and workshops all over the country. Her lectures are in the lively style of her writing and she speaks to a variety of topics relevant to parrot culture including “A Happy Healthy Parrot in an Ever-Changing Life,” “Ten Things You Should Know About Owning a Parrot (But No One Ever Told You.)” and “Six Reasons to Have a Well-Behaved Parrot.”

Rebecca hopes that her life’s work will somehow help people understand their connection to animals and the earth and to relish it. She is available for consulting and writing projects and always loves to hear from new friends.

Born in Valentine, Nebraska in 1979, I was (and still am) a gregarious, adventurous young lad. Being desirous of seeing the world and all it has to offer I’ve scraped my nose, bumped my head and broken my heart more times than I care to mention. However, all that has given me a valuable perspective of the Human Condition with its’ Pratt’s Falls and peaks, perils and perks.

Being a student of experience has taken me atop the highest mountains, through the driest deserts and driven me on the loneliest highways for the longest car rides. I’ve met beggars and billionaires, thieves and priests, the most influencial and the least. All of whom are asking the same essential questions about their life and the World that surrounds them:

  • “What is my Purpose?”
  • “Where do I begin?”
  • “Why is this happening to me?”
  • “When can I start improving my standards?”
  • “How can I make this situation better?”

I look forward to helping others answer some of these important questions about themselves and their surroundings. In the process, I know I will learn a lot. As I’ve always said,”The best way to learn anything is by teaching it.”

Some of my passionate interests include Feng Shui, bonsai, poetry, writing, cooking, reading, learning/teaching and hiking. I am most passionate about financial education which is expressed in the business I recently started. That is a whole web page of information that can be better explained on an individual basis. For now though, let us suffice it to say, I am grateful to be here, NOW, sharing my views, helping others to grow and growing exponentially myself in this Abundant Universe.

There are no accidents.
God’s wealth is in our life.
His wealth falls to us in Avalanches of Abundance.
Choose the abundance of wealth that is offered to all of us every day, because ultimately, it is a lot more fun!
Peace, love and SMILE! ;-)
