New – Art Gone Wild…
Dozens of extraordinary works-of-art created by the animals living at the Rosamond Gifford Zoo will be on display from October 21 – November 21. The exhibition includes several pieces produced by trunks, paws, feet, hooves, scales, skin and, of course, brushes. Don’t miss this limited engagement! Learn more here.

Halloween Fun…
Experience Beaver Lake Nature Center like never before during An Enchanted Beaver Lake, October 23- 25 from 6 – 8:30pm. This family-friendly event features over five hundred distinctly carved pumpkins and luminaria along two beautiful trails. Advance sale parking passes, for $5, will be available beginning Friday, October 9. Event admission is $3 per person; 3 & under free.

The Great Zoo Boo will take place at the Rosamond Gifford Zoo on October 23, 24, 30 & 31 from 6 – 8:30 p.m. The zoo will be transformed into a bustling Halloween bash with hauntingly hilarious interactive characters and sets for children and families to enjoy. Its “kooky not spooky” theme provides families with Halloween fun without the fear!
