Dr. Rob On My Mind, November 17th, 2009
November 17, 2009 by Dr. Rob

Dr. Rob on my mind;
Another beautiful “right now” is seen and felt in this, another amazing day. While in NYC on Saturday, my lower back was reminded of its mechanical nature. A tweak, a twist, a spasm at that, attempting to open up a couch to sleep upon. Now with some pain and challenges walking, I call it all a gift, to remind me of the beauty and nature of life. All things flow and are good in life and are present to teach me and guide me on my way. Not bad, nor good, but a gift for this day in life. As the pain pushes me, the vision pulls me to seek a remedy, a healing experience, yet not attached to the outcome. Each day a gift is given to me, and I simply share with the universe and say thank you for all that come to me in the day. To slow it down and look all around, and constantly seek the balance. Take nothing for granted, and with some acupuncture (thank you to the amazing Donald, of CNY Healing Arts Syracuse) my back is speaking more gently to me. Healing energy is flowing and this comes from the energy of thee, of the Universe and of thy mind. Also with some healing touch and visualization of healing in me, all from the power blessed to us all. A thought that all things that come are a gift for me, to learn and seek. I put a smile on my face, and use the words, healing within me. Some stretching and meditation is also useful to find the balance on the journey, right now. All is good exactly as it happens, then my mind builds the necessary molecules, vibrating and healing me, and attracting the necessary building blocks for the change coming my way. My love to all and blessings on your journey this day, and for you to change your thoughts of the pain to a gift, to grow and learn, and find the balance and the flow meant for you on your exploration of life.
Love,
Dr. Rob

Bacterial Vaginosis
March 19, 2009 by Donald Clarke

Bacterial Vaginosis is still a bit of a mystery in the medical community as to why it first appears. Their has been some speculation as to some of the causes. High fragrance soaps, non-cotton undergarments, douching with strong synthetic solutions and poor diet.
Some advancement has been made in the treatment with western medicine however; there are some simple steps that you can take to treat the symptoms yourself. The first step to recovery is to alter the ph of the vagina to a more neutral level. This can be done in several ways. Diet and lifestyle seem to be the most effective treatment and prevention. Alternative medicine is mainstream

Everything we think, everything we say, everything we do, is either health creating or health negating. When we begin to look at health and healing that way, we can enter the realm of health creation from anywhere — nutrition, exercise, contemplative practice, relationship. –Dr. William B. Stewart
Alternative Medicine Is Mainstream:
Heart disease, diabetes, prostate cancer, breast cancer and obesity account for 75% of health-care costs, and yet these are largely preventable and even reversible by changing diet and lifestyle. Read more
