Meditation: Shakti Expansion and Receptivity

“Everything we do in our lives we infuse with our attitudes.” – Elena Brower

Below is part 1 of 9 video modules on Shakti Expansion, a yoga class by Elena Brower, who I absolutely love. It’s a beautiful stand alone to watch when you have 5 minutes to just sit, listen and breathe. I find it to be very peaceful and hope you enjoy it too! The beautiful take away from this, besides the peaceful moment, is a wonderful attitude adjustment and enlightening way of looking at life and it’s challenges.

In the video Elena shares that our breathing is our connection to the freedom already residing in our own hearts… shakti… manifests in our daily life as we choose how we spend our energy and focus our love. With one breath we can invite the challenges of the day and can face anyone or anything with an unshakeable, mindful attitude. We can be aware and awake with nothing but quiet, steady grace … shakti …. to offer in return.

Remove the Suit: Dr. Rob’s Intention of the Day, May 17, 2012

Hello and good morning
A beautiful day, this is Dr. Rob
Remove the Suit, my intention this day

Yes, get out of the suit; get out of your mask
Get into life!
Stop hiding behind that thing called you
And be you!
The fear, it holds you tight
And doesn’t allow that mighty good sight
For you to create and come out in life
Remove the suit, the mask you see
Is but hidden of who you truly be
For love of life and all that be
Is what you’re meant to create, you see
For God is you and God is me
And we’re here to share and take the dare
To live as you
And why and how do you be this way?
Well who cares and knows?
Step out I say!
Live this life with love, I say
Be kind and generous to all that be
And simply ask to simply be free
It’s all so perfect and meant to be
For you to step out and shout life out
Yes, Namaste on this good day, Dr. Rob

Another awesome and amazing intention of the day
Enjoy your intentions
Write them, read them, share them, shout them
Live them and make them every day!
God Bless

Trying to Please Others: Living for Ourselves

We may not realize until we are adults that we are living our life to make our parents happy.

Most of us come to a point in our lives when we question why we are doing what we are doing, and many of us come to realize that we may be living our lives in an effort to make our parents happy. This realization can dawn when we are in our 20s, our 40s, or even later, depending upon how tight a hold our family of origin has on our psyche. We may feel shocked or depressed by this information, but we can trust that it is coming to us at this time because we are ready to find out what it would mean to live our lives for ourselves, following the call of our own soul, and refusing any longer to be beholden to someone else’s expectations.

One of the most common reasons we are so tied into making our parents, or others, happy, is that we were not properly mirrored when we were children. We were not honored as individuals in our own right, with a will and purpose of our own, to be determined by our own unfolding. As a result, we learned to look outside of ourselves for approval, support, and direction rather than look within. The good news is that the part of us that was not adequately nurtured is still there, inside us, like a seed that has not yet received the sunlight and moisture it needs to open and to allow its inner contents to unfurl. It is never too late to provide ourselves with what we need to awaken this inner being.

There are many ways to create a safe container for ourselves so that we can turn within and shine the light of awareness there. We may join a support group, go to therapy, or start a practice of journaling every day for half an hour. This experience of becoming is well worth the difficult work that may be required of us to get there. In whatever process we choose, we may feel worse before we feel better, but we will ultimately find out how to live our lives for ourselves and how to make ourselves happy.

Simple Concepts of Life – Dr. Rob Kiltz

Hello and good morning, Dr. Rob; another awesome and amazing day in the universe.  Up Early, work easy and live your passion.  Simple concepts of life for each of us is to believe in that which we desire as if it’s already here.  With that thought and belief, the energy flows and touches every cell of your body and the motion happens without thinking I have to get up.  I better do this.  I better do that.  Oh, I’m just too tired today.  Change the thoughts and the motion of life will move your way every single day and every single time.

It all happens in perfection because you are where you are because you’re meant to be right there now.  Wow!  I enjoy getting up early, and I joy in the life of easy work.  Now, when I say work, I’m not thinking Oh my God, I have to go to work.  Oh, what a tough day this is going to be.  I don’t want to go to work.  I think work like play, creativity, like motion of the universe!  You and I are that motion of the universe, you and I are that play, you and I are that amazing, amazing creativity of the universe.  Now live your life with passion every day, move forward with love, gratitude, and goodness.  All the things which you desire will flow or better I know that every day—or better every day!

Please forgive me God for this, I do love you.  Forgive me for any of my missteps and miswords.  Forgiveness of yourself is so powerful!  Do not look back with regret or judgment; always look to what has happened in your life in pure perfection.  I do.  Many a times, I said Oh, that’s not what I thought it was supposed to be! but it came out that way, and I see the amazing, amazing creativity that that has brought to me.  You and I are perfect.  We are all God’s gift to the universe, and we are the creators of the universe.  Everything is a flash, and you are that flash.

You are that moment of joy and creativity of life.  We’re here to make it more and more, and more; and we thank you for that.  Blessings, this is the key to life and love.  Yes, get up early every day, work easy every day, and live your most passionate life.  Step into the muck, because that’s where the real creative juices flow.  I love you.  Enjoy this day.  This is Dr. Rob just sharing some thoughts of life in the day.  Check out www.mindbodysmile.com.  Go ride a horse, learn an instrument, sing a song, and write a story.  Tell something awesome and amazing about someone in your life.  Pick someone out that maybe you wouldn’t be thinking that of, and share the goodness of that person, because it’s there—we all know that.  Love, Dr. Rob, enjoy the day, God Bless.

Invest Locally, Participate in a CSA

Free weekly CSA Delivery in the Skaneateles area (13152) Time to sign-up for the 2012 Schoolhouse Farms CSA! Learn more when you Google Schoolhouse farms or visit us at this link.

Keep it local and support your neighborhood farmer A weekly deliverable share of 7-8 items that begins in June or as soon as weather allows and runs until Mid-September or so. It is a collection of Schoolhouse Farms grown produce that varies as does the harvest ! Starting with greens and other early season fare and continuing with heirloom tomatoes, beans, squash and a host of other items as they mature. Great local pesticide free products from growers you know and live in your community.

A CSA from Schoolhouse Farms

We have always looked for an approach to farming that best reflected our vision and values …so we have chosen to be a CSA farm. We believe that Community Supported Agriculture can restore the vital link between consumers, farms and their farmers, and the natural world, and we believe that restoring that connection is more important than ever at this time in history.

“Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world. Indeed it is the only thing that ever has.” ~Margaret Mead

A CSA is a relationship of mutual support and commitment between local farmers and community members who pay the farmer an annual membership fee to cover the production costs of the farm. In turn, members receive a weekly share of the harvest during the local growing season. The arrangement guarantees the farmer financial support and enables many small- to moderate-scale organic family farms to remain in business. Ultimately, CSA creates “agriculture-supported communities” where members receive a wide variety of foods harvested at their peak of ripeness, flavor and vitamin and mineral content.

“We cannot move back to a rural society. We have to create a new relationship between the citizens and “their” farmland that will make the benefit of the farm experience available for anyone who seeks education, recreation, or therapy. Every community needs to incorporate farms not only to have fresh local food, but also to have available educational facilities. The extermination of farms on the East and West coasts of the United States is leaving a vast, thinly populated, highly mechanized and chemicalized agriculture in between. This has many detrimental consequences, environmental, educational, and social.” ~Trauger Groh, Farms of Tomorrow Revisited.

Why Participate in a Schoolhouse Farms CSA?

Eat fresh ~ experience food with higher nutrition and better taste. Eat organically ~ and keep chemicals off the land, out of the water, and off your plate. Eat locally ~ and save the expensive fossil fuel miles (about 1300) that it currently takes to get a pound of food to the American table. Eat heirloom tomatoes ~ and support our planets seed heritage. Support a small farm and its farmer ~ and preserve beautiful farm landscapes, wildlife habitat, and a more secure local economy. Connect naturally to the source of your food and to each other in the spirit of community. Know your farm…know your farmer CSA has been called “farming with a face on it.” You’ll have a very direct relationship to the farm and farmer growing your food, and an opportunity to be closer to the source of your food than ever before.

Support for agriculture

If agriculture is replaced by agribusiness, what will be the effect on human health and the environment for future generations? Unchecked, agribusiness has already produced factory farming, genetically engineered foods, and the suicide seed. The average child receives four times more exposure than adults to at least eight widely used pesticides in food. You, the consumer, are voting every day with your food dollar. As a shareholder, that food dollar is maximized for you, for the farmer, for the land, and for the environment.

How does CSA work?

The CSA customer becomes a member payment early in the year. In return, the shareholder “shares” in the season’s harvest by receiving a weekly box of fresh delicious, quality produce throughout the growing season. Shareholders, inevitably become allies of the farm and farmer they support. By simply sharing in the harvest, they provide a dependable market for the farm’s production. They give their farmer the opportunity to focus on the art and science of farming ~ of caring for the land while growing the most healthful and highest quality food. In this way, shareholders also support the land and the environment through the beneficial practices of their farmer.

CSA has its risks!

Yes this is an investment and with it comes a risk. Mother Nature is ultimately in charge and as such has final say as to how things grow. We have modified aspects of our small operation every year in an attempt to reduce the negative impacts weather can bring. However, it is not perfect science so on occasion things don’t go as well as planned and the dividends maybe a little smaller then we would like.

Lead with Love – Dr. Rob Kiltz

Hello and good morning
An awesome and amazing day in the universe
God has gifted you and I the beauty and perfection of this day
This is it, this day you say, that we lead with love
And this thy way
The key to life is love what it be and then you see
Greatness in thee
There’s a space between the brain and the pain
It’s two millimeters I say
But the chasm may be great or small you see
But it’s a flash and a dash of what you be
For what it be is what you think you see
Now lead with love and there it be
The greatness of this awesome day
Is what you believe and this thy way
Pain it be or love you see
A thought, a choice, a space you see
Imagine it perfect as it be
For you to stand still and see
With love does lead and there you be
Calm within for there be God
Love and Namaste, Dr. Rob

Another awesome and amazing day in the universe
God Bless to you

FREE Soul Coaching® Oracle Card Reading

A Thank You Gift for all Mind Body Smile Readers and Staff!

I have been posting articles to Mind Body Smile ever since the blog first began. Now it is payback time. I am so grateful to all who created this blog to send the message to the world that everyone has the right to be at peace and enjoy your life each and every day!

This blog is the concept of Dr. Rob (Robert Kiltz) “thank you Dr. Rob”; these are four words he hears often! Thank you for all of the time you spend creating videos that inspire and uplift us, not to mention the many things you do each and every day! Also, thanks to Chris Briel for all she brings to the blog with her dedication. A special thanks needs to go out to all who write for this blog and last but very much not least I want to thank all of YOU, the readers. You are the very reason the blog exists!

I mentioned it was payback time and that is what I am going to do now! I am offering anyone who reads this blog (even if you only stopped by just today) or any of the staff at Mind Body Smile a FREE Soul Coaching® Oracle card half hour reading. This will be done by phone or Skype. The only restrictions are you need to be over 21 years old and the offer is limited to only 60 days! This means you need to have your session booked by June 16th, 2012.

You might be wondering what a Soul Coaching® Oracle Card reading is.  Below is a brief overview and after reading this if you still have questions feel free to contact me, Judith Geiger at Judith@oraclecardcoaching.com

Soul Coaching® Oracle Card reading:

The soul coaching® oracle cards are a beautifully illustrated deck of cards, similar in size to a deck of playing cards. They were designed by Denise Linn and created at Hay House. They each have a single word and a bright colored picture to help you access your right brain for your own intuitive knowing.

In an oracle card reading we would first get really clear about what you want from the reading. We would do this by choosing the card spread that is best suited to your needs. Then we would take the time to formulate a question that is open ended for maximum insights. No, yes or no questions! Your question could be about anything from career to love life.

Next we would take time to connect with the cards energetically so that each card is divinely guided just for you. I would coach you around each card as it appears in your unique card spread. I also add my intuition where it is appropriate. We can work with various card spreads depending on your desired outcome. I will describe each card for those on the phone and email them pictures of their cards after the session. People often refer to the cards as they are moving forward with what they want to accomplish.

You can see a sample card spread by going to www.oraclecardcoaching.com

This is not a psychic card reading or fortune telling. Instead, it is using the amazing soul coaching® oracle cards to assist you to tap deep into your own inner knowing (your soul) and start creating the life you know you were meant to live. No one knows your life as well as you do, let coaching with the cards help you to unlock your potential and assist you with the changes you want to make.

Some of the readings that are available: (many more)

  • Attract Abundance
  • Relationship Spread
  • Make a Decision
  • Medicine Wheel
  • Birthday Spread (what does your year ahead look like?)
  • What’s Next Spread
  • Messages From Your Spirit Guides

It is easy to claim your reading:

Email Judith@oraclecardcoaching.com and put MBS FREE OFFER in the subject line!

Testimonial for Judith’s card readings:

“I recently received a Soul Coaching Oracle Card reading from Coach Judith. It was a five-card spread to reveal messages from my Guides. I wanted to know if I’m on the right path, spiritually & energetically. I wanted to know what my soul longs for at this time in my life. Coach Judith proved to me that she has a gift for touching a sacred place within & sharing meaningful, uplifting insights about someone else’s life. My experience was meaningful, uplifting, life-affirming, and fun. You must try it!!” ~ L.R.

“Judith was very professional and created an atmosphere over the phone that felt like I was right there with her. Currently going through a major transition, the cards revealed insights for my upcoming year giving me hope and inspiration. As a result I have taken action on a few items we discussed and I intend to consult with Judith again as I move through my transition.”  Diane Krebs
