Tough Day

Posted by on Jul 14, 2008 in 0-smile, blog | 0 comments

Today is a tough day. I’ve had a setback. I’ve had the rug pulled out from under me. I’m the recipient of an unpleasant suprise package. This is tough. This is really, really tough. I don’t want to let this stop me. I don’t want to let this get in my way and take me down. This one is hard to get over. This one is hard to put behind me. This is a pill that’s hard to swallow. Enough. I’ve got to get out from behind this somehow. Where am I going now? I don’t know. How am I going to get there? I...

Self

Staring into the mirror … wondering who I was and what my place in the universe was. I recall doing this occasionally in my early teens. When I did this it gave me an uneasy feeling as if I was not sure who it was staring back at me. For some reason I would continue staring and begin to question the universe itself and what our place is within that. In retrospect I think that uneasy feeling is a feeling we all have experienced in our lives. As time passed I would not let my mind go there … I became fearful of what I might find...

Black Currant – Our Little Super Fruit

Posted by on Jul 13, 2008 in blog | 0 comments

At Schoolhouse Farms we are continuously seeking out new delicious flavors, as well as products that naturally promote good health. One such product we produce right here on the farm is Rebecca’s Black Currant jam. This stuff is really black gold and the unique sweet sharp flavor is rather unmistakable. Her all fruit jam is produced from the harvest of Black Currants we planted on our property after the ban on the black currant was lifted in New York state a few years ago. Black Currants were banned in New York State (and most of the...

Don & Laura’s Story

My husband and I had been trying for three years. The last year that we tried, we went to CNY fertility. It is my belief that ovarian drilling, clomid treatments and my weightloss (20 pound) helped us get pregnant! We are very grateful for all that Dr. Kiltz and his office did to help us. Now we just celebrated our son’s first...

Words cannot describe the gratitude and joy we have experienced since the birth of our twin sons! I still look at them, 5 months later, and cannot believe they are here and they are OURS!! After 3 long years of 3 failed IUI’s, 1 failed IVF and then one miscarriage we finally have our dream come true. I don’t think I could have made it through all of these years without the support and determination of the staff at the CNY Fertility Center!!! Everybody from the front desk ladies, to the nurses, to Dr. Kiltz, everybody was always...

John & Elizabeth Hart’s Story

My husband and I were just trying to live out the, “American Dream”. We were married and bought the perfect house to start our family. Everyone around us seemed to be having babies, we assumed we would be next. However, two miscarriages and five years later, we were still no closer to our dream. That’s when we decided to take all our hopes and go to CNY Fertility Center. I still remember our first appointment with Dr. Kiltz. He looked at our chart, ran some test that day, then said, ” We’re going to get you...
