3 Ways God Winks: Weekly Tips from Judith Geiger

Synchronicity is a word most people are familiar with. It is an event that feels guided by a force bigger than us. If you ask any of my coaching clients what synchronicity is, most likely they will say, “They are God Winks.” This is because I often tell my clients about a little book called, When GOD Winks: How the Power of Coincidence Guides Your Life by Squire D. Rushnell. Many of my clients read Squire’s book to help them see what is not always obvious.

How many times have you been caught off guard where you have to take a step back, with jaw open, and exclaim, “How could they have known? Who told them about my life?” Or “I was just talking about you yesterday and here you are!” God Winks all. When there is a need for us to be or do something and we are clueless… that is often when a God Wink will show up.

3 ways to notice your God Winks (Your Miracles)

You know it is a God Wink when you get a similar message two or more times. An example from my life today would be I came across a new book about mind management, another way to say Law of Attraction. Early this morning I opened a book at random to read a little and landed on the page from Conversations with God by Neale Donald Walsch where they were dialoging about some of the laws of the universe. In essence the Law of Attraction. I know that I am being called to pay attention to this message. Not sure why yet.???

It is a God Wink when something happens clearly out of the blue. An example would be if you were looking for a new job in sales. For weeks you pounded the pavement in NYC and could not find work. Then your friend calls to tell you about his new neighbor, Frank, who he just had dinner with. Frank is the head of hiring for Macy’s so your friend told him about you. Tomorrow you have a job interview. This might seem like a pie in sky example, yet it happens every day to someone, why not you?

People and circumstances are destined. There are certain people we are destined to meet for a wide variety of reasons. We meet and life goes on as normal only later to discover how important and needed this person (or circumstance) is in your life. An example I have is about a circumstance in my life from 35 years ago. There was a little red house that I wanted to buy in the worst way. I was heartbroken when circumstances turned out otherwise. Only to discover that once I bought the second house, in another town, I was right across the street from a business I would one day own. It never would have happened if I was the first, not the second person, to put in a purchase offer on the red house in a matter of hours. A year later the new owners called and asked if I still wanted to buy the red house because it was for sale again. By then I was happily settled into my new home and working across the street.

God Winks happen big and small to all of us…you simply need to pay attention and act on them!
