I’m just as passionate about the tea I drink as I am the coffee (Starbucks)…. well, almost 

We have a choice with everything that we put into our body, to make it good for us or bad for us. Although there are some things that live in the grey area, tea is not one of them. I’ve tried many different types of tea and have found two brands that I absolutely love: Tulsi Tea and Yogi. Admittedly they aren’t the cheapest but both are worth every penny.

Drinking tea can be an experience, if you let it be. It starts with your choice, so make it a good one. Imagine yourself looking at the box, the image is where the experience begins. Maybe you read a little about the tea, maybe a quote on the box resonates with you. Open it up and the smell hits you immediately. Maybe your tea of choice is earthy, with hints of fruit? Now you pick your cup, set the tea bags in it and pour hot water over it (I like my tea strong so usually use 2 bags).

Let your tea steep for about 5 minutes, lean over your cup and breathe it in. Yogi Tea has quotes on the tea bag which I love. This morning I had, “Your greatness is not what you have, it’s what you give.” and “Wherever you go, go with all of your heart.” Now that’s a way to start the day! TEA TIME! Now take a few sips and contemplate the universe, you’ve got time.
