Dr. Rob’s Intention of the Day, January 4th, 2010, Live Island Slow

Hello and good morning, from Jade Mountain, St. Lucia
It is a spectacular day in the Universe
The intention this day, Live Island Slow
The breath I take and begin my day
And now I choose to think and say
For the roosters wake to the light of day
Birds singing, moon shining,
Sunlight sprinkling this new day
As I begin to contemplate my journey and play
And live slow, as the island does say
And for me, nothing much to do, nor say
For the birds and peepers sing away
Calypso and Reggae are the beats of the island
For all I do is contemplate the winds and bay
The water moves with the music of life
Fresh fruit and fish a tourists delight
Why would I leave this island paradise
For it moves slow as I know,
And deep inside the volcanic energy does flow
We are here at the heart of life, simply to Live Island Slow
Not wanting to go, but this I know
Tomorrow can wait for the work I contemplate
Live Island Slow is a great boat, and not far to go
