Dr. Rob on my mind, travel blog;
Another awesome and amazing day in the Universe. I thank the eternal energy of the Universe for this life and this moment of now. For it is the happiness of the moments and the gratitude for the gifts of all that I have that make it so. And in the gratitude and thankfulness of all, that the science of the mind attracts exactly what I think. I, along with Gina and Pilar were able to visit a small portion of the expansive and seemingly never ending largest museum in the world, the Louvre. The art housed in this small corner of the Universe has a smattering of man’s creations and moments in time. I am in awe as to the amazing thoughts that are converted into things of beauty and some not so eye appealing. The marble and stone sculptures were my favorites along with the renaissance paintings. Unable to see all in one visit I guess I will have to return to Paris in the near future.

Yet my favorite time was when Pilar and I were able to simply walk the streets of Paris and seek out a simple french bolangerie for some fresh croissants. We also stopped at the music library for some research on her Princeton senior thesis. A kind security officer, without the use of our sharing a similar language walked us across the street to the main music library office for the proper clearance to enter and review the card catalogue. I was able to wait, patiently as a father would, while Pilar explored the 5th floor walk up ancient stacks.The energy of the people and the spaces sharing the vibrant energy of the past and present were felt everywhere. I love the narrow streets and small unique shops along with the large entry doors leading into center court yards. Each turn onto a new street shared a new gift of architecture and charm.
This early morning I am leaving Paris for the next leg of my journey. I am preparing for my sun portion of the trip to St Lucia, flying home to Syracuse for New Years celebration at Joelle’s French Bistro and then flying out at 5:45am on the 1st of 2010. My best intentions to all in the coming year and remember to enjoy the moments and practice your own positive intentions this year.
Love always,
Dr. Rob
