Another perfect day in the universe.
Gina, Pilar and I are blessed in the universe to be sharing this Christmas day and loving life with all. I started the day with gratitude, thanking the creator for the beauty, the rain and cool wind, along with the amazing energy of the people that i am surrounded by each and every day. I had the opportunity to run the streets of Paris this morning, People walking and enjoying the beauty of the day. Tourists in life, this is all that we are, moving thorough the Universe at light speed exploring and connecting. Very few people out but some shops were beginning to open and the churches were letting out. A few joggers and many people walking their dogs. All of us seemingly in our own spaces yet getting out, brings us together. “Merry Christmas and bonjour”, words I  shared on my journey this morning. Most responded the same and sent loving energy back to me. Some remained in their own space and did not share. Yet I know that as the earth need not respond to the sun for its eternal light, nor must we respond to our fellow man. I know that love is life, and seen and felt in all experiences gifted by that creator exactly as they are. When you get out and explore you begin to feel as one and the connection is there. For despite the differences in language, and some cultural nuances, in this world we are all seeking love. And now i know that it is all right here in the now, via my thoughts. And as the sun shares its eternal energy with the earth, no expectations of love in return, this was, and always is, my intention on my run this morning, and sharing of my thoughts. Yes, many a people did not return words nor a happy appearing look to my thoughts, i just keep on shining. Simply allow all of the events to unfold as they are meant to be. Yes start with a desire and a goal, and loving all outcomes as the gift of the universe. Bring to your thoughts that you are made up of the same energy that God, the sun and the earth, in addition to your neighbors, family friends and what you may call your enemies, for we are all one.  Some call this  the energy of the universe, and it is the  eternal light, constantly moving and changing in form. In all things that you do, see the gift of love, use the words and then the form of that will come. When you use the thoughts and thus words of why me, and this is all bad and punishment, then this is exactly what you create. Your thoughts are the ultimate creator of the universe. Do not take my word for this, simply give yourself a 21 day practice of positive thoughts and see the miraculous changes that will result from a simple practice. The books, music, poetry of life are all there if you do some simple work, enjoy and love all in the day.

Last night, the rain, cool winds greeted us on our way to dinner. On arrival to the hotel yesterday morning we were reminded of our Christmas eve dinner reservations and confirmation in writing was given to us. The highly recommended restaurant, Carre des feuillants, required a special reservation and deposit for the celebrated Christmas meal, scheduled for 8pm.  We had a great rest after arrival and walk to the musee de l’Orangeire, where Paul Guillaume’s private collection of impressionists, Monet, Renoir, Mattise, Picasso and others we soaked in to our souls. Back to the hotel for tea in the bar vendome and enjoyed the scones, creme fresh and soothing piano music. Then an hour of rest, a nap, and preparation for the dinner celebration. We walked out of the Ritz at 8pm, and were greeted by the gentle down pour of rain and cool breeze. Initially intending to walk, we decided on a cab for the 300 yard or so journey to the Carre des feuillants. Then i stepped in line for a cab, and as soon as i did i was asked if i had reserved a car. No was my reply and the response was that the wait was at least 15 minutes. This all sounded fine yet then i was told that there are no more cabs. Quickly the Ritz fashioned us with umbrellas and the beautiful walk in the rain, simple water and beautiful lights of the Place de la Concord. Once a place of French revolutionary zeal and the beheading of Marie Antoinette and King Louis XVI. The square is now filled with cars moving swiftly past and the people walking and sharing the energy of a christmas eve. The center of the square has a 3000 year old egyptian obelisk, overlooking 8 symbolic statues of French cities. We arrived at the restaurant slightly behind schedule and a little wet, yet all good. We entered a small indoor square on 14 rue de Castiglione, contemporary metal and glass then greeted by the materdee, Philip. The sleek electronic glass doors  and metal tables with stone floors could of seemed cold yet with the joy and warmth of christmas cheer all emitted love. We soon found that they did not have our reservation and the probability of dinner there would of sounded unlikely to most if it did not elicited outrage. Yet with the cool and calmness that all is unfolding as meant to be, Pilar quickly got on the phone with the Ritz and they assisted, yet the restaurant did not locate the hotels reservation. Philip was apologetic and he had only one small table available, near the entrance and the kitchen. not intended to be used for the eve, as this was in their mind  unacceptable as a place to celebrate enjoy the eve. Maybe to most but not to us.  With Christmas cheer, I quickly acknowledged the beauty of the table and the fact that it is the one that was meant for us. All was a gift and if in fact if there was no table at all,  all would of been good. Our constant thoughts were a blessing what ever the outcome and a smile on our faces. There was no need to do anything but to bless the entire encounter and all things happened as they were meant to be. The service was impeccable and the energy of the space magic. Yes we were near the kitchen and all was sparkling and we could visualize the artists at work going on in the moment. The wine tasting and artistic food pleasures and treasures of the evening were spectacular. The art work on the wall was as if we were in the louvre, the greeting by the head chef as if we were at his home, and the christmas sparkle in the air was observe by the couples and families breaking bread and sharing wine. This was the joy and energy of the night, exactly as the creator had intended. Blessings to all on this day of celebration. Practice each day and each encounter a celebration of life. All brought to us by the creator. I send my blessings to all of my family and love to Claire. Love is my intention each and every day.
