Dr. Rob’s Intention of the day, November 11th, 2009, The hero he is to me

Good morning again and a spectacular day in the Universe
The hero he is to me,
A celebration to those that serve, my intention this day
To serve and protect, they did it the best
To serve our country, our world and thee
This I see as we live and be free
To sacrifice and toil with arms and foil
What we strive to stop and need not to be
Yet today a veteran is in need and represents me
For my father I celebrate and love all of he
For the heroism and sacrifice given to me
This I love as I share my thoughts, this Veteran’s Day
As we celebrate those past and present,
Who have given their time, their energy and life, first and last
In the struggles we find gifts, love and connections
All part of the journey, to find love and a common place
Somehow this is all meant to be, part of the change, growing me
For we are eternal beings, all one, moving forward in the sun
For he is the hero to me, and a blessing of life from thee
Blessings this day, for all is part of the play
