A few weeks ago Dr. Rob Kiltz hosted a lovely Brunch at Rosalie’s in Skaneateles, NY. Everyone who attended was infused with his infectious, positive message. Dr. Rob asked everyone that joined him that afternoon to take a few minutes and share their answers to the following two questions: What is the meaning of life and What does happiness mean to you? There were some very wonderful and thoughtful answers, see below. We welcome you to comment on this article and share your answers with Dr. Rob and the rest of us.

Life. Happiness. Meaning. Isn’t it all about LOVE? The world is crushed for its want of LOVE. The one that is self-authenticating, uplifting, freeing The one that has no logic, no humility nor impossibility. The one that resides on the gossamer edges of all that is absurd, funny and delightful. It is a verb. It needs to be allowed. It needs to be unleashed. It needs to be unpaid. For when conditions exist, it no longer is LOVE, it no longer is life, it no longer is happiness. Indeed, what a peaceful world it could be, if only we were not afraid to LOVE.
Thank you to all for the amazing comments on the meaning of life.
From all of the input the meaning is certainly unique to each and everyone of us
and the beauty is for each and every one of us to express this.
The love of life and our meaning is what is needed in the Universe
love to all

I often feel the meaning of life consists mainly of inner-peace, inner-happiness and ones own positive attitude. I once had an aunt who although she had a family, was married, enjoyed laughter and the outdoors, eventually deteriorated physically because of the fact their daughter’s husband began to cause discord in the family and the daughter/husband separated. Husband eventually won parental rights to the biy and the “feces” hit the fan. Long story short, after years of legal fights on Aunt’s behalf to help daughter regain custody.
Over the course of 4 or 5 years and $50,000 in lagl fees (to no avail), she slowly died and passed away. She was high strung and lost her inner peace and all of the worry caused her decline. So in essence, INNER PEACE is where meaning of life begins.
