Wonderful things are happening in Central, NY. A new magazine has been launched called CNY Home & Garden. I have been fortunate to be selected to be featured on there cover for the May issue and also on the last page. I am so honored to be in such great company. The magazine is filled with accurate and informative stories on life and living, all written by local pros’. And best of all it is Free! The magazine is available on line and also at: Liverpool area shops, Libraries, some Wegmans, some Price Choppers, some hair salons, The Eggplant (restaurant off Erie Blvd. in Syracuse), Baldwinsville Elementary teachers lounge, Syracuse University and at Skaneateles Artisans.
The Last Leaf:
There’s something poetic about homes and gardens. Would a home and garden magazine be complete without a poem or an artisan’s touch? This month brings a personal look at one of Central New York’s finest faux painters, Teresa Vitale and her designs. For Teresa, the room shown above was one of the most exciting and satisfying of her many works of art.
Teresa:
“I have been a self taught artist for over 20 years. For me, art is life and life is art. I grew up in Porto Empedocle in Sicily, where art was and is a way of life. Now I live in a 156-year-old farm house which feeds me with inspiration each and every day.” Click here to read the entire article.
