What is a woman’s coaching circle?
October 15, 2008 by Judith Geiger

I would love to spend a few minutes telling you about an upcoming event that I am very excited about. I am starting a new woman’s coaching circle in Skaneateles on Oct. 20th. So many people have asked me to explain just what a coaching circle is that I am writing to tell you about it. This circle is for “women only” although I do coaching circles for mixed groups or men as well.
What is coaching:
- Coaching occurs through a conversation. Either in person, on the phone or in e-mail. As your coach I have been trained to listen to what is being said as well as what is not, to ask powerful questions that can propel you to see things with a new perspective and to mirror back to you what is being said in a way that offers clarity to your vision.
- We will brainstorm ideas and I will use my coaching process that looks at all areas of your life so that you can begin to live the life you have longed for. A life you love.
- I use tools and assessments as needed. Each person is unique in how they like to be coached and how many resources they want to use.
How it works:
- We will meet from 6:30-8:00pm and sit in a large comfortable circle. Bring along a travel mug of hot tea or a bottle of water.
- Then we pick a focus for the coaching which changes as the group grows and changes. The very first group will talk and be coached on self-care. Coaching creates awareness and opens you up to new possibilities. Even when you hear someone else being coached you will gain new awareness and wisdom. There is a certain synergy and dynamic movement that takes place in a group which is fun to experience. The entire group will brainstorm ideas when appropriate.
- The women will start with the Clean Sweep Program. From there we will see what life areas this group is most interested in working on. Some possibilities will be career, relationships, personal growth, purpose clarity, personal challenges, etc.
- The entire group will sign a confidentiality form. All are very respectful of each other’s privacy. The woman will feel like they are in a very safe space. If at anytime someone just wants to listen and not talk, that is fine! Never any pressure in my coaching circles. Just fun-fun-fun! Bring your smile to share!
- I use a 5-step process in my coaching that goes from personal foundation to accountability. We will be using a buddy system to enhance the process. Again only if you chose it! Coaching is all about the client and what the client wants.
- This first group meets monthly but other groups might spin off that will be more specialized and may want to meet twice a month for more concentrated work. Such as women in business, Purpose clarity program, afternoon group for retired women, anything is possible!
- The cost makes it very affordable when you are being coached in a group.
Who should come:
- Any woman over 21 who wants MORE out of life.
- You have a large challenge you want to overcome.
- Women entrepreneurs who want to grow their business.
- Stay at home or working moms who are seeking life balance.
- Retired women looking for that next thing life has to offer them.
- Women who are in a transition.
- Empty nesters.
- You have a large challenge you want to overcome.
- You want to experience personal growth. Wanting to connect more closely with who you really are.
- If you are feeling like you want to make some sort of a change in your life but are not sure what that change is!
Where: St. James Church Skaneateles, NY
When: Oct. 20th after that they will be the last Monday of each month!
Investment: $25.00 a session with the first session free!
What to bring: To the first session bring a magazine cutout of something you would like to bring into your life and a photo of you (copy) so we can start a group vision board. There is power in a group intention.
I hope this was helpful and I would truly love to see you there! You need to pre-register so call 315 497 3059 or email Coach Judith. I welcome all questions!
