Fall changes
September 22, 2008 by Judith Geiger

Fall is a time to naturally think of change. Everything around you is in rapid change. The animals are storing food for winter as they grow warmer coats. The lush green grass slows its growing process as it begins to turn yellow and later almost a dead brown.
Leaves turn brilliant colors along my country path. Mornings are often foggy which leads me to reflect on what is needed to come out of the fog and into the light,so I can better sees the trees before me. Trees know it is their natural time to let go! The leaves need to drop to the ground one-by -one so that the winter wind and heavy snow won’t break the braches. Between the fog metaphor and the tree analogy we are left with thoughts of our future. The tree knows what it needs to do. Do we?
What changes do I (you) need to make so that we are able to withstand our own winter winds.
“Think about any attachments that are depleting your emotional reserves. Consider letting them go.” -Oprah Winfrey
By letting go of those things we can then easily bring in what we do want.
I am committed this fall to let go of my busyness long enough to bring in more of my intuition.
I will write more about intuition and how it works in my life as the fall season naturally moves us into change!
What do you want to let go of as the leaves begin to fall here in the eastern part of the United States? After deciding what needs to go from your life remember that creates room to bring in the new. What do you want to bring into your life?
