Late summer tomatoes

I love this time of year you can feel change in the air. Summer is winding down, nights are cooler, and kids are getting ready to go back to school. BUT I love it also because of fresh Tomatoes – there is nothing better. I am having a bumper crop this year I can bareley keep up with them! Last weekend I made fresh tomato sauce, it was more time consuming than expected but the end result so Yummy.
