Top Ten Healthy Ideas:

  1. Eat a pint of organic blueberries instead of a donut or muffin
  2. For congestion and mucous, incorporate lots of red pepper, turmeric, cumin and garlic in your cooking
  3. Replace mayonnaise in recipes with plain organic yogurt
  4. Take the paper towel challenge: for a month, try using hand and dish towels instead
  5. Serve fresh cut pineapple instead of chips ʽnʼ dip
  6. Bypass the vending machine and brew yourself a pot of loose, organic herbal tea. Bodum.com has neat tea pots and presses.
  7. Convert your favorite dessert recipe by replacing white sugar with honey, maple syrup, agave or black strap molasses - or try no sugar at all.
  8. For healthy lungs, open your windows, unplug air fresheners and drop them in the toxic waste bin
  9. Just Say No to artificial anything, i.e., Aspartame, Sweet n Low, Splenda, MSG, FD&C dyes
  10. Dance, walk or do yoga!
