The positive mental approach to life

Shifting the energy of the universe is possible if we put our mental powers to the greatest use. If we see it in our minds we can manifest anything we desire. Learning to utilize the positive is not so hard with practice and experience. It is important for each of us to focus on a positive idea and do the exercises necessary to encourage this in our lives. Tapping into the spiritual powers of the mind and the universe is what gives us the ability to accomplish anything we seek.

A daily practice of prayer and meditation is a simple process and requires only what the universe has given us, our minds and the ability to learn. It takes only minutes a day. Take the moment to see in your mind the beauty of life all around us. Experience the air we breathe, the life and nature of the universe, the relationships all around us that we are given to learn and grow from. Remember that there are no problems in life. These “problems” are only the experiences that the universe gives us to grow, learn and journey. Learn to live and love all around us and see the beauty of each and every person and relationship, even when there is disharmony at a given moment. Learn to say I am sorry and not be offended by the words or actions of others.

For each of us is sharing the energy within and expressing this is critical in life. By showering others with love and joy, this is what we are given back. Tap into the experiences of others that have journeyed before us and have learned how to harness the powerful energy of the universe. We must learn to calm our minds and not take anything personally that others are expressing. Thoughts, feelings and emotions can be a powerful thing and can control our lives. We want to tap into the positive emotions and feelings and not let the negatives get us down or bring us down. We must remind ourselves each and every day to keep a positive attitude and intention. This is one of the reasons that I write and read positive intentions and quotes (click here to read Dr Rob’s daily intention). Make your own daily positive intention and write it down. Come across positive ideas in the day? Write them down on a note pad kept at your side at all times.

Bring positive people and ideas into your life on a daily basis. Where do positive people hang out? Find the energy of others that are on a similar journey of life. Connect with successful people that have accomplished things that you are interested in. Go to a concert, museum, the opera or musical theatre. Stop sitting at home alone and watching television. Read and write each and every day. Positive and uplifting stories or biographies are important to experience each day. Read them and share them with others. Join a book club, a band or garden club. Get out in life and enjoy the many opportunities in this universe.
