Tree Pose - Vrkshasana
Benefits:
- builds concentration and focus
- reduces stress - it is nearly impossible to worry and remain balanced at the same time
- develops strength and stability in the feet and ankles
- stabilizes and strengthens both the superficial and deep hip muscles
- increases overall body strength
Verbal Cues:
- focus on your breath
- find a point some where in front of you to focus on
- soften your gaze and breathe deeply
- repeat the pose on the opposite side
